Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Nick decided to make a career of broadcasting late in high school.

In August of 1999, he moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to enroll at the University of Alabama and the College of Communication and Information Sciences.

Three-and-a-half years later, in December 2002, Nick graduated Summa Cum Laude in Broadcast News with a minor in Communication Studies.

During his final year of college, Nick began his professional broadcasting career as a nightside reporter, weekend producer, and weekend anchor at WVUA 7 News in Tuscaloosa.  Nick then moved on to WAFF in Huntsville, Alabama, where he worked as a reporter/photographer. 

Nick arrived in Memphis at Action News 5 in July of 2007. 

In his spare time, Nick enjoys all sports, especially basketball but not golf, reading, writing, playing the guitar poorly, watching movies, spending time with friends, and trying to make folks laugh.
