Memphis was part of a global campaign to commemorate the day of Jerusalem.

Volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God held a cleanup at Robert Church Park in downtown Sunday.

The group has traveled the country organizing cleanup efforts as part of a volunteer mission.

"Throughout the whole world we're carrying out these volunteer cleanup campaigns so that people can come to know about God the mother's love," said Nathan Gulcynski from World Mission Society Church of God.

The group has been organizing cleanup efforts across the country from New York to LA throughout the month of December. This is their fourth visit to Memphis.
