Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley has added to the excitement of the Grizzlies’ regular season home opener by purchasing 500 tickets that will be given away.

According to the press release from Grizzlies Media Relations, the tickets will be distributed in the Grand Lobby at FedExForum starting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Coming off last season’s record-setting campaign, in which the Grizzlies won 26 of 33 at home during the regular season, Memphis’ floor general wanted to assist members of Grizz Nation to get ready for another season of grit-and-grind action.

“Our fans’ enthusiasm has helped make FedExForum one of the NBA’s loudest and toughest buildings for opponents to visit,” Mike Conley said in the release.

“We want to see that same atmosphere carry over to Opening Night and the rest of this season,” said Conley.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be a limit of two tickets per person.

The Grizzlies will host the Utah Jazz in their 2012-13 regular season home opener, presented by First Tennessee Bank, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5 at FedExForum.

Fans who want to support the Memphis Grizzlies and purchase tickets to Opening Night, 2012-13 Season Tickets, or 10- and 20-Game Packs can do so by calling (901) 888-HOOP or going online to grizzlies.com. Tickets for the Plaza IV and Terrace IV sections are already sold out.
