Starbucks to roll out giant drink size

Starbucks is rolling out it's biggest drink size yet.

The coffee giant will offer its TRENTA size drinks by May in all U.S. coffee shops.

The TRENTA is 31 ounces and will be offered for iced coffee, iced tea and iced tea lemonade drinks.

The new drink will cost 50 cents more than Starbucks current large, the VENTI.

After nearly 40 years in Overton Square, Paulette’s is moving to a new location.

George Falls, Paulette’s owner, says the restaurant will open for business on March 1, at its new location at Downtown hotel, the River Inn of Harbor Town.

Green forks help restaurant recycling program

Green forks help restaurant recycling program

The Assisi Foundation has awarded Project Green Fork a Challenge Grant to raise funds for a recycling trailer.

Project Green Fork contributes to a sustainable Memphis by helping reduce environmental impacts, with a focus on strengthening homegrown restaurants. 

To raise the funds, the group is selling recycled, green forks that can be used as unique holiday ornaments, business card holders, or simply placed in home/office as a sign of support.

All pork, all the time during 11 course dinner Downtown

A new southern creole restaurant in downtown Memphis is serving an 11 course menu, on November 11th, with each course including a part of a pig.

The restaurant, Mr. Hill's Southern Review, is located at 149 Madison Avenue.

The tasting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Reservations are not required.

The meal will be $49 per person.

Orpheum Theatre hosting annual auction

The Orpheum Theatre is preparing to host its 32nd annual auction.

This year's auction will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 PM.

The theme is "Celebrate Memphis" and the evening will feature Southern style food, an open bar, and live performances by local musicians.
