Fewer parking spaces mean more fun downtown

Fewer parking spaces mean more fun downtown

Finding downtown parking is going to be harder than normal Friday because more than a dozen parking spaces are being turned into public parks.

Park(ing) Day started in San Francisco back in 2005. It was just one parking space that was turned into a park for two hours which was long as the parking meter would allow.

Now, it's a huge event held in cities across the globe and Memphis is taking part for the first time tomorrow.
