MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC-TV) – A downtown Memphis security guard claims she was attacked and robbed in a parking garage after leaving her job Thursday.
The victim said she was approached from behind by a man who put a knife to her throat. He demanded her purse, then grabbed her by the back of the head and slammed her face into a car.
The woman said she called police as soon as she came to, which she guesses was about 30 minutes after she was knocked out.
Police say the victim had a cut to the left side of her neck, as well as a laceration under her left eye.
She was taken to The MED in non-critical condition.
Police have not said whether any arrests have been made in the attack.
