Woman arrested for indecent exposure near children

(WMC-TV) - A Frayser woman was arrested Monday after a police officer caught her lifting her dress while children were nearby, according to court records.

The officer received a complaint that Delilah Churchwell was in the 200 block of North Lauderdale and exposing herself.

Arsonist burns 8 apartments

(WMC-TV) - Investigators are looking for the person who set a fire that damaged 8 apartments near South Main early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the vacant building at 658 Hernando St., just after 1:30 a.m. Crews reported seeing a large amount of fire coming from the two story building when they made the scene.

(WMC-TV) - Police say a recent arrest may help them crack a series of vehicle burglaries Downtown.

Investigators have charged Deadrick Booker with sneaking into 701 N. Main last month and stealing the batteries from a pair of vehicles belonging to the city's community and housing development division.

Former Pinnacle worker sentenced for million dollar scam

(WMC-TV) – A former Pinnacle Airlines’ worker was sentenced to more than three years in prison after pleading guilty to stealing more than a million dollars from the company.

Frank Richard Raasch, the company’s former director of information technology, told investigators that he created a fake company and then submitted invoices to the airline. Then Pinnacle’s checks were deposited into accounts Raasch controlled.

Accused groper arrested on Beale Street

(WMC-TV) – A man who allegedly admitted to groping a woman on Beale Street spent Monday morning behind bars.

The victim told police she was walking on Beale Street near Second Street around 4 a.m. Monday morning when a man approached her from behind. She told officers that Gregory Gillum grabbed her waist and rubbed his hand across her buttocks.
