Soup Sunday to fund Youth Villages' mentor programs | Community Spirit

MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC-TV) - Youth Villages 23rd Annual Soup Sunday returned to the FedEx Forum Sunday.

Hundreds of volunteers were serving up soup and other delicacies provided by dozens of local eateries.

Proceeds benefit Youth Villages, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully.

The event raised $45,000 last year.  This year, proceeds will fund Youth Villages' mentoring program.
