"Who Let the Dogs Out?"

That's the perennial question on Mud Island every year when the Harbor Town Dog Show gets underway. This year's 10th annual event  is set for October 28th, 12 p.m. in Harbor Town's Nursery Park, and as always, promises loads of fun and laughs.

As in years past, this year's event benefits the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County.

Competitions include most obedient, least obedient, most glamorous, most mysterious heritage, original Costume, best float" and best vocal performance, to just to name a few.

Celebrity judges will be on hand to judge the four-legged competitors: Kevin Kane from the Memphis Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Dr. Susan Murrmann of the Murrmann Clinic, and Emily Adams-Keplinger from the Commercial Appeal. Action News 5's Kym Clark will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies, while Greg-G will be on hand as Musical Director.

Contestants must register by Oct. 14. The cost is $35 and $45 for late entries. Dogs are admitted free to the VIP green room as long as their human purchases a $20 ticket in advance, $25 day of the event. The ticket comes with reserved seating, food, drink and treats for the dogs. This year's Top Dog sponsor is the Downtown Animal Hospital.
