Keeping an eye on the I-40 Bridge | Transportation

If you’re eager for crews to wrap up their work on the Interstate 40 Bridge over the Mississippi River, the Tennessee Department of Transportation has a few ways you can keep tabs on the project.

While it probably won’t make the work move along any faster, you can get updates on a website and on Twitter.

According to a press release, crews spent Tuesday and Wednesday “placing signs, restriping, and placing concrete barriers along the work zone to ensure the safety of the workers during the phase of installing of the large seismic bridge joints.”
