DNA t-shirt design contest

Information provided by the Downtown Neighborhood Association:

A T-shirt design contest is being held to commemorate Downtown Neighborhood Association’s upcoming 30th anniversary beginning in January 2011. Area artists are invited to submit original artwork that evokes a sense of community, pride, ownership and involvement.

Our slogan, “It’s a new day at DNA,” was adopted this year when a new board of directors began building a stronger, more unified and diversified association. The group is working toward a bright future for Downtown.

The T-shirts will be used as a DNA fundraiser to help finance projects that benefit all who live, work, and play Downtown. Champion Awards is assisting with the production.

Officials said the car, a Jaguar convertible, slammed into the store shortly before 11:00 a.m.

"We're very, very luck that no one was seriously hurt," Notowich said.
